Everyone,

The GENIVI Graphics Sharing project has completed last year's investigations and delivered lots of Tech Briefs and Whitepapers on the different methods of how to do efficient graphics exchange between computing units in a distributed system.

As such, goals have been met and it would normally be time to start closing the project timeline.

BUT! You might not know it -> there is one remaining investigating topic that is still on the agenda.  It is exploring possible combination of Android and Linux/Wayland graphics stacks.  The best of two worlds?

A small team of enthusiasts now meet weekly again, for just a quick sync up of about 30 minutes to see if this investigation can be progressed further.

Therefore, here is the updated recurring invite and as always anyone is welcome to join if you wish.

The direct shortlink to the project home page is still here:

Best Regards

  • Gunnar
