Hi, I am not sure I follow you. What is "resent version"? " a few versions behind the upstream"? A version of what? Following some messages on (I think) this mailing list, I got to this gstreamer plugin: https://github.com/Freescale/gstreamer-imx/tree/master/src/eglvivsink which with some patches can create IVI surfaces and display the images using egl. I think the patches are here: https://github.com/Freescale/gstreamer-imx/issues/115 but I don't have an IMX processor. Therefore I thought to ask here. But effort wise it is not huge amount of code you need to add... Hi, Would it be possible to get the patches? Also which gstreamer plugin are you using? Cause there are many: * waylandsink - uses wayland shell and functions to render the image. No opengl code in this plugin * glsinkbin - this and further plugins are using opengl. No idea how are they different. Hi, I manage to adjust the waylandsink plugin to show the image with IVI shell. The patch is attached. I worked on the "1.16" branch of the gstreamer plugins bad.
