Team,

I would like to draw your attention on the AWS/BMW press release (see link
on the CCS call minutes)

The press release makes reference to two projects:

1- the GAIA-X European project
https://www.data-infrastructure.eu/GAIAX/Navigation/EN/Home/home.html

One facet of this project is the work on a data catalog

2- the European Automotive Alliance.

https://eata.be/about-us/members/

that groups together automotive and telecom companies

Let us discuss this during our Monday's call next week

Best regards

Gunnar,

I think it would be helpful for you to send a note to the Board that gives a brief summary of the MS call and especially indicates the strong support they have for CVII and VSS.

It might encourage them to really dig in around CVII as their next big thing.  I wonder how we do similar outreach to Amazon?  Does Ted have any Amazon contacts?  We know Dean Miles (former Harman) on the Alexa for Auto team, but that's about it.

Steve

Hi Mike!

Here are some additional links:

Here is our project page on GENIVI's side, but don't forget that W3C is just as much behind this initiative:

https://at.projects.genivi.org/wiki/display/DIRO/Common+Vehicle+Interface+Initiative+--+Home

A so-called community slide deck, and also a more updated slide deck that Ted and I used for our joint Automotive World Webinar is available from the attachments on the same page:

https://at.projects.genivi.org/wiki/pages/viewpageattachments.action?pageId=63799455&metadataLink=true

The Automotive World Webinar video recording is available here (with GeoTab).

Hope this helps.
