[genivi-dlt] Updating Dlt-daemon in the Genivi Baseline

I notice that the Genivi Yocto Baseline (meta-ivi) is not using the current dlt-daemon commit.
I would like to get it updated.
One aspect of that is that the Baseline must be compliant with the Genivi Compliance Specification.
I assume it is, but could you confirm Dlt is using Semantic Versioning for its version numbers?
At first glance it seems the changes since release v2.17.0 are fixes but can you confirm that
they don't break backwards compatibility with the Dlt version range in the compliance spec (v2.9.1 to 3.0.0)?
Assuming the changes are compliant would you be happy to send a pull request to update meta-ivi
or do you need help in doing that?
+ Looking forward +
The Genivi Baseline Integration Team (BIT) is in the dev cycle for the Genivi 14 Baseline. The first
pre-release P-0.1 has been tagged , with the next scheduled release to be P-1.0 in the last week
of March. As part of the dev cycle there are practises in the BIT and SAT to check for Genivi component
code updates to include in the Baseline, but this is not continuous so it is not perfect.
So if you are not doing it already I would encourage the team to please consider updating meta-ivi when
you have changes you wish to share. At the very least when you make a new release.
As the experts in all things dlt then sending a pull request to update the dlt recipes in meta-ivi is great.
However if you are not so familiar with Yocto or for other reasons then you can also reach out to
me as the BIT Lead, Oscar Andreasson as the Yocto Baseline Maintainer or the traditional route
of your SAT representative.
I look forward to getting dlt updated in meta-ivi and hearing about the new features at the AMM.
