[genivi-dlt] Binary encoding of DLT logs

I have already written a generic log analyser(specific to our requirements) to parse text based logs and its written in Java. Now I am trying to write an extension to read DLT log files in Java(not a JAVA based DLT client) and feed them to the analyser for processing. I had also look at DLT viewer implementation about how it reads DLT log file(QDltParser::parseFile). Basically it reads line by line using inbuilt QT library functions. But I still couldn't do the same in Java. Thats why I thought it may be a different encoding used.

Could you please be a bit more specific what the actual problem is? Do you write a JAVA based DLT client to receive messages directly, or do you try to parse a DLT log file, which is created by e.g. the DLT viewer?
I guess you can have a look at the DLT daemon and viewer code how the DLT message format is defined. On autosar.org, you can find the specification as well.

Betreff: [genivi-dlt] Binary encoding of DLT logs
I am writing a Java parser to parse DLT logs and facing a issue where the output always contains some non-text values regardless of ending method used. So it would be great if someone can shed some light on what kind of encoding is used when creating the DLT file and data structure if there is any.
