Hello all,

in one of our projects the question arose if it is possible to reduce the number of control messages (namely AppID: DA1 and CtxID: DC1) sent by dlt-daemon to clients. While i am aware that these are part of the protocol i still like to forward this question.

In DLT Viewer i could untick "Timing packets from ECU", "Send Get Log Info", Send "Get SW Version" if online and "Send Default Log Level, Trace Status and Verbode Mode if online". Are there any further methods for reducing control messages?

Best regards
